About

“A man's mistakes are his portals of discovery.” – this statement by James Joyce struck a chord to me.

Mistakes are inevitable to human life. In fact, one that which makes us human is the element of imperfection, our vulnerability to commit mistake...to be wrong…to fail!

It sounds dreadful and discouraging, but no! Making a mistake is not the end of the story. There will always be something that is more encouraging which comes post mistake, something that bridges failure to success. And that is LEARNING!

To learn is the goal of this blog; and the teacher is our own experiences of mistakes. Yes, mistakes are great avenues for learning; however, it isn’t necessary to actually experience them. The late Eleanor Roosevelt once said “Learn from the mistakes of others. You can’t live long enough to make them all yourself. ”

Come and let’s share our mistakes…then discover and learn!

Also, I would like to thank the man behind the blog PostSecret for igniting the spark of inspiration to build up this blog about mistakes and learning.
